GREETINGS:

On Thursday, July 23, the Barony of Twin Moons held its annual Caveman Invitational, also known as "Soft Rocks." This event, which traces its roots to Cain and Abel's first water fight, has always been a Twin Moons favorite.

This year there were three sceneries. The first, Officers and Court vs. the Populace was won by the List Office. The second format was Fighters vs. Non-fighters. This also was won by the List Officers. The last scenerio was a Grand Melee. The List Office cleaned up on this one, too.

On a completely unrelated note, no one tried to bribe the List Officers this year.

Runners-up were: the Officers, the Fighters, and an unverified Lord, believed to be Lord Jordan. I am unsure of his identity since the Lady's skirts he was hiding behind kept obscuring him.

After reviewing these events, H.E. Francesca declared the results all wet and must be reprised at September's Court.

This past month also saw two tourneys at the Kingdom Youth Collegium. The Hardsuit Tournament consisted of five contests with different weapons. In three of these, Great Sword, Bastard Sword, and Axe, Duke Aaron made grave men of his opponents. Li, Great Hero of China, was best oriented to Glaive and Inverted Great Sword and Sword.

Li also served as bye fighter for the Youth tournament. One observer noted that, the bye fighter won as many bouts as he lost. I guess Lord Li is better than half of Aten veldt's youth fighters...

M'lord Ryan, of lineage unknown to this Office, was the winner of the Youth Tourney.
