Wanderer says, "All the characters haven't really been defined down to a definite level, so whichever one you pick, feel free to customize/change. Here are my general preferences, however..."
Wanderer says, "Twofeather Hundredtales is the storyteller of the group. He/she is in general the narrator; personality is 'very talkative; hard to shut up and has a story for everything.' Probably should be a wolf, and probably male, but the latter isn ' t required. You need him/her to survive this, since he/she is the official 'voice of the group' when it comes to retelling your deeds."
Wanderer says, "Pathwalker Twopaws is the illegitimate kid of the chieftain and the medicine woman of the tribe. (gender unspecified, species either panther or wolf.) They're equally good at healing and fighting, but everyone expects him/her to fill in the medicine woman's moccasins. Except they really don't want to be a healer."
Wanderer says, "Sunrises Ringtail is a lady'coon, an Easterner the tribe picked up as a child and raised as their own. She's probably the least defined of the group, save that she'll be useful as the native guide if and when you folks encounter any Easterners in your journeys."
Wanderer says, "She's kinda quiet, and doesn't talk much; she hasn't mastered Indian very well at all. (A roleplaying challenge of sorts.)"
Wanderer says, "Mackerel Notchear is the hunter for the group; gender unspecified, species either panther or wolf. Excellent with spears and knives, but prefers fishing. Talks to him/herself a lot, mostly grumbly about life and how unfair it is."

Wanderer says, "Finally, Longtail 'Sharkstooth' is the legitimate kid of the chieftain, and while he/she hasn't earned their second name yet, they insist it'll be 'Sharkstooth.' Odd considering that the tribe is an inland one."

Wanderer says, "Finally, Dreamer Windwalker is the daughter of the rival shaman. She's either a wolf or a panther, and the talent runs strong in her-- maybe a bit too strong. She's prone to fits of 'not hereness', and sleepwalks. A lot."
