Ket'pilars are the large six legged felines that act as mounts and companions to the several of the races in the cold reaches of the northern city (name to come soon).
Ket'pilars have an odd body structure, it almost looks like the set of legs in the middle of their body is attached to a hip-like, instead of shoulder like structure.
They are very friendly and loyal to their owners, and the owners treat them with great respect. There are however some things that bother visitors from the other cities. The owners talk to their mounts as if they can understand, and often the Ket'pilar seems to respond, which is nonsense as everyone knows four or more legged animals are dumb brutes. One visitor even claims he saw a Ket'pilar rear up and use his front legs like arms. However, he admits he'd had a lot to drink at that point.
Ket'pilars are large, very dense creatures, weighing up to 1500 pounds. All six limbs have claws, and the tail is prehensile. Coat colors vary widely, and nearly any pattern any other feline can have can be found.
