A dasher is similar to a terrestrial rabbit. It is a short-eared creature built for speed. It has long folded rear legs and smaller forelegs used mostly for stability and directional control. It's tail is long and thin and has only a sparse coat of hair.
The dasher's fur ranges in color from browns to white, and it usually is mottled.
A dasher has little in the way of defense except its speed, which it uses to good effect.
