The days grow shorter, there is a chill in the air and for the Baronies of the Kingdom of Atenveldt this means one thing: WAR! The six Baronies of the Kingdom of Atenveldt cordially invite one and all to the join them on the Field of Friendship and Honor at the 8th annual Baron's War. This year the mighty Baronial armies and their allies shall meet at the Schnepf Farms Festival site in the mundane town of Queen Creek Arizona. This is your perfect opportunity to preview the site of the Estrella War XV.
Directions: From the East (Apache Junction, Globe): I-60 West to Ironwood Exit; Turn left onto Ironwood; Ironwood to Riggs Rd. Right on Riggs and follow SCA signs to site entrance on the right. From the South (Tucson) I-10 West to the Chandler Blvd exit; Turn right onto Chandler Blvd and go 14 miles to Rittenhouse Rd; Turn right onto Rittenhouse; Rittenhouse to Riggs; Take a left at Riggs and follow SCA signs to site entrance on the left; From the North (Flagstaff): I-17 South to I-10 East to I-60 East. Follow "Directions from West" instructions above. Site Info: Schnepf Farms features abundant grassy acres of comfortable camping, potable water, permanent showers, flush toilets, RV Hook-ups and many additional amenities. The site is WET (no glass containers). Site Fees: (No Personal Checks Will Be Accepted) 18$ per Adult; $11 per child aged 12-15 ($3 discount with proof of SCA membership). Children under 12 will be admitted at no charge. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Absolutely no one will be admitted to the site without a site token. Site tokens must be on your person at all times. A limited number of RV spaces with full hookups (water, sewer, power) are available at an additional fee. Contact the site autocrat to reserve spaces. RV Spaces: A limited number R.V. Spaces are available for a fee of $20/day. These spaces include Water, electrical, and sewage hookups and are available on a first come--first served basis. Those interested in reserving a space should contact the Site autocrat. War Points: War points will be split among Hardsuit, Rapier, and Archery. 3 war points shall be allotted to the hard-suit scenarios, and one each to rapier and archery.

Merchanting: Special Events: The event facilities for special events, including the eric, are available for scheduling through the Special events autocrat. Anyone wishing to host a tournament, bardic, teach a class, ect... should contact the special events Autocrat, HL Diego for more information. To date, a prize tourney, pas d'armes and Laurel's Prize Tourney have been put on the Special Events calendar. For more information on the Laurel's Prize Tourney, please contact Viscountess Yrsa at the number listed below. The Barony of Twin Moons will be hosting a Paired great weapon tourney. Teams consisting of two fighters, one with a great weapon and another with their weapon of choice, shall meet in a double elimination tournament. The winning team members shall each receive a stainless camail. Preexisting teams encouraged, singles will be paired as possible at the tourney. Volunteers Needed: No event can run successfully without the help of volunteers. m'lady Meghan, the volunteer autocrat, will be visiting as many groups as possible in the coming weeks in order to recruit volunteers for Baron's War VIII. Please volunteer early; and, if that is not possible, please sign up for a shift or two at the front gate.
