Assume
that the page of text we are reading has just been accessed or openend.
This means that prior to the while loop starting the first letter if the
page will be the first letter read in the while loop. The INPUT letter
statement will execute and the first letter is read. The effect of this
is as if a "pointer" is advanced to the next letter position. In this example
the loop doesn't run to completion but should show enough demonstrate how
reading from data advances through the data.
